      @with goddess
      I’ve never heard it either. But Iliza is a professional comedian so I’m sure she’s heard a lot more comedy than the average person.

    ” If I were a terrorist I would’ve screwed everything up September 8th ” is a great line! What is she talking about

    • Max Jones

      May 12, 2020 at 4:30 pm

      I think there’s a good idea to it somewhere but the phrasing and focus doesn’t really allow the concept to come through very well. It’s not necessarily overtly obvious to the audience in the most emphasised manner what it means that he would have screwed it up on the 8th.

    • Brendan Skinner

      May 12, 2020 at 5:02 pm

      It would be if we knew why he was such a screw up. Or if it was a lead in to telling us how he wouldve screwed up.

    • Max Jones

      May 12, 2020 at 5:52 pm

      @Brendan Skinner Yep. A long form joke with a specific anecdote or exaggerated examples would have been a lot more effective.

    God, Iliza was working with nothing! They should’ve vetted some of these performers. Nobody was funny.

    • Phyrre56

      May 12, 2020 at 7:04 pm

      This is probably an accurate cross-section of Americans if you asked them to be funny in 20 seconds. It’s hard to be funny, and most people overestimate their skill.

The WNBA MVP always carries two pairs of glasses, depending on what the occasion calls for, and pulls out her favorite snack, a bag of Sour Patch Kids. The most meaningful item in A’ja’s bag is her late grandmother’s coin purse, which she now uses to carry her ID cards. “I don’t put coins in it because my heart’s in it.”
