At first, I didn’t like the theme song. However, after watching the first episode, I understood its goals and it worked. I am surprised that I caught some of the composer’s intentions because I am not a knowledgeable music person. If, however, you are trying to decide whether to give a shiw a chance, this reminded me not to walk away if the music makes no sense. Usually, the theme song has been a good barometer as to whether I might like the show. This is ine of inly three times I can recall where my initial impression didn’t match my final impression.

he’s WRONG. The Succession theme is only stuck in MY head because of Demi Adejuyigbe’s parody lyrics.
