This Tokyo Vintage Store Sells a $56,000 Faux-Leather Jacket | Vogue

In Shibuya, Tokyo, Vogue steps inside Archive Store, where Tatsuyuki Suzuki treats fashion history like fine art, exhibiting and selling rare designer archives in a space that operates more like a museum than a shop. From a Fall/Winter 1992 Maison Martin Margiela Soutane coat inspired by Catholic vestments to the brand’s oversized futon coat from 1999, Suzuki highlights pieces that challenge conventional ideas. He also explores sculptural Comme des Garçons designs, early Raf Simons collaborations, rare works from John Galliano and Yohji Yamamoto, along with many other hard-to-obtain runway pieces.
