In 2009, Chris Leba launched R13, a cool-girl denim brand that can now be found at top retailers like Barneys, Shopbop and Totokaelo.

Fashion designer Chris Leba presented R13’s Spring Summer 2020 collection inspired by the attitude of skate park’s kids, on September 7th, during the ongoing New York Fashion Week.

For the spring-summer 2020 collection, Chris Leba’s call to the “other America” continues by investigating the mood and behavior of the kids who frequent the skate park near his home on their daily commute to and from the R13 office; the challenge was to express such a popular and beloved concept in a new and exciting way without losing its impudent essence.

To this end, Leba used different characteristic motifs such as zebra, leopard and bright colors, combining them with classic menswear.
