Pharrell Williams, creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear, sits down with Vogue China’s Margaret Zhang (Editor-in Chief, Vogue China) and Yiling Pan (Vogue Business China Associate Editorial Director) at the Louis Vuitton store in Beijing. Pharrell talks about the inspiration for his pre-fall collection, Louis Vuitton’s presence in China, and his philosophy on life and how it intersects with fashion. Williams also expounds on the talents of his Louis Vuitton collaborators, the notion of calling himself a ‘fashion designer,’ and the democratization of creativity and discoverability.

Its SO weird hearing this guy calling his employees “soldiers” in this day and age. He has no IDEA the hardships an actual soldier goes through in 2024.
