Oltre la Passerella: Arte e Moda con IED UNSTAGE e Scarlett Rouge – Fashion Channel Chronicle

A Milano, nel pieno della Fashion Week, la moda si trasforma e si spinge oltre la passerella.
Negli spazi della Galleria Lia Rumma prende vita Unstage, il fashion show corale dell’Istituto Europeo di Design. Un’esperienza che non è soltanto sfilata, ma geografia di gesti, suoni e corpi pensanti.

Ad aprire lo spettacolo è la performance intensa e rituale di Scarlett Rouge: una voce, un canto in movimento che attraversa il semibuio e dà il ritmo a una cerimonia collettiva. È il segno che la moda, qui, diventa arte, rito e liberazione.

Cinquanta look, nati dal dialogo creativo di tredici giovani designer, si intrecciano in un mosaico che riflette memoria, radici, identità e visioni di una generazione. Creazioni che non mostrano solo abiti, ma pensieri, fragilità e desideri, in un continuo gioco tra luce e oscurità.

Come ricorda Umberto Sannino, Head of Fashion School IED Milano e direttore artistico di Unstage: “È moda che disobbedisce, che smonta la superficie per mostrare ciò che sta sotto: il fare, il pensare, il collaborare”.

Unstage è tutto questo: moda che diventa linguaggio corale, esperienza condivisa, atto politico ed estetico. Un invito ad abbandonare il classico catwalk e a entrare in una dimensione dove la moda incontra l’arte e diventa comunità.

Titled “The Number,” Adolfo Domínguez’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection revisits the brand’s heritage through experimentation, exploring the relationship between tailoring, construction, and the hidden architecture of garments.

Classic tailoring is reinterpreted with sculptural details, featuring jackets with pronounced shoulders, dropped armholes, invisible elastic adjustments, and structural elements that challenge traditional shapes. The collection plays with transformation through hybrid pieces, blending familiar categories such as shirts and knitwear, sneakers and ballet flats, and skirts with trouser-like constructions.

Inspired by the creative process of the atelier, tools such as rulers, measuring tapes, and set squares become graphic motifs and prints. A magnolia, a personal symbol of Adolfo Domínguez, appears through photographic imagery capturing the delicacy of the flower.
