This is exactly why all of the movie trailers made today are horrid! Constant jump cuts, idiotic narration, containing scenes that aren’t even in the film advertised etc. Somewhere in the last 30 years it all gave away to this kind of asinine extremely annoying junk. I prefer the old “Robin’s Nest” trailers that were made by the filmmakers instead of outsourced to people who know absolutely nothing about (or care) about film.

Her accent is really whiny, the way she purses her lips is really weird, and her posing just exudes “I’m not beautiful, but I’m successful” chip on her shoulder vibes. Overall, there’s something very creepy and phony about her demeanor. Vanity Fair, just because someone works in an industry, doesn’t make them good communicators.

I could never hear a trailer with a narration today without thinking it’s either a bad kids animated movie or a self-aware comedy. There’s no way I could take one seriously anymore.
