MILAN MENSWEAR SS 2026 I Tra mito e savoir-faire il “Gentlemen Club” di TOD’S – Fashion Channel Chronicle

È un gentlemen club quello immaginato da Tod’s, e allestito nei giardini di Villa Necchi Campiglio, nel cuore pulsante della vecchia milano.
Tutto ruota attorno a quel gommino, che fonda le sue radici nei mitici anni ‘70, quando ancora si chiamavano car shoes e driving shoes, una italiana, l’altra portoghese, oggetto di culto per il jet set e mito anche nella cultura popolare:
“Una malattia virale nata un po’ per caso, un po’ per fortuna” come dichiara il patron Diego della Valle, e cinquant’anni dopo, siamo ancora qua.

Con quel gommino, mito e leggenda al pari di pochi altri oggetti cult resistito alla patina del tempo, che ancora oggi valorizza L’ intelligenza artigianale, alimenta il lavoro di una filiera fatta anche, non solo, di sapienti mani umane.
Un principio, l’ artigianalità più autentica, che ispira l’ intera collezione pensata da Matteo Tamburini secondo i codici stilistici di una vita vissuta an plain air: silhouette che accompagnano il corpo senza costringerlo nel nome di una sartorialità rilassata con un tocco di sport, i materiali assecondano il movimento, tra lino compatto, crêpe, lane ultraleggere e suede dai toni sorbetto. Le righe su camicie e borse riecheggiano le tende da spiaggia e le sdraio mentre i nodi marinari diventano nappe in pelle sul gommino.
Materiale principe della collezione è il Pashmy declinato nei classici del guardaroba maschile, come il bomber e il blazer destrutturato.

The Fall/Winter 2026 collection, titled We Own The Light, explored light as a design element through contrasts of texture, transparency, and structure. The collection focused on architectural silhouettes combined with sensual shapes, staying close to the brand’s signature balance of experimentation and bold femininity.

Mini dresses in plumeti tulle featured iridescent surfaces, puffed sleeves, and fluid draping, creating soft volume with reflective movement. Other looks emphasized layered construction through lace, patchwork, and overlapping textures, often developed in warm tones of ochre, pink, and gold.

Transparency and opacity were central throughout the collection, with fabrics used to create shifting effects of light across the body. Volumes ranged from fitted silhouettes to more sculptural forms, balancing sharp geometry with softer drape.

The palette moved between luminous metallic effects and deeper evening tones, reinforcing the contrast between radiance and shadow.
