How can you overcome anxiety? How can you help others to do this same? In episode three of Open-Minded, Kendall Jenner sits down with Dr. Curley Bonds, Psychiatrist and Chief Medical Officer at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, to discuss how to be a better ally to friends, family, and loved ones who live with anxiety. In their conversation, Kendall opens up about her experience with panic attacks. Dr. Bonds provides Kendall with advice on how to channel her experience to help others, offers tips for breathing exercises and discusses if and when it’s appropriate to take medication to help treat anxiety.

This Vogue series has been really cool to follow. Kendall’s honesty in talking about her own anxiety-related issues universalizes the notion that mental health is a challenge for everyone (regardless of who you are) which combined with the contributions of the professionals, always taking it to a broader level to address various levels / types of anxiety is very good for people to recognize themselves and seek the help they need.

These sessions are the best thing, thanks. I’ve benefited if even by the slightest so I respect the involvement. For anyone that needs to hear it you’re going through your weed too fast 🙂 slow down, I’ve been there. Haha jk but seriously this is beautiful. I would really appreciate it if Kendall could use her visual prowess to tell us how well Devin Booker is going to do in the first round. I can’t stand these casual fans doubting him. 🙂 😉 🙁 anyway here’s to progress and mental issues awareness. Most of the public is going through life raw.
