Amid the hustle and bustle of Haute Couture Fashion Week, Vogue France met with JENNIE, just a few hours before the Chanel show.

Echoing her delicate cape, which makes her feel like “a little bird,” the Korean singer—who rose to fame as part of Blackpink alongside Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo—is now spreading her wings as a solo artist. Ruby, JENNIE’s “very personal” album, features anticipated collaborations with Dua Lipa, Kali Uchis, Doechii, Childish Gambino and more.
