Inside Este Haim’s Wedding Dress Fitting | Vogue

“I told myself I wasn’t going to cry…” Este Haim, alongside her sisters Alana and Danielle (members of rock triplet HAIM), sets off for her final wedding dress fitting. Este, the eldest Haim sister, will also be the first to marry, and the trio are over the moon with excitement. Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière has crafted the looks for Este’s dream wedding, bringing to life the visions of her imagination. Alana and Danielle’s “something blue” bridesmaids’s gowns are fashioned with sculpted pleating, reminiscent of a bow that beautifully trails off the sides of their hips. Este’s wedding dress is the stuff of fairy tales: a Victorian-inspired gown complete with leg-of-mutton sleeves and a bustle-style overskirt with heavy ruching, a style that calls back to some of Nicolas’s most iconic designs. To wrap up, Este steps out in a lacy white ensemble styled for the post-ceremony dinner, the final look for one of the most unforgettable days in the Haim sisters’s lives.

Not a fan of the wedding dress with the jacket, but I’m glad she loves it. The blue bm’s dresses are fabulous, tho!

  I was going to say the same thing. There’s nothing wrong with it, I just don’t love it. It’s better than the women who get married with their whole chest out. I like the blue dresses much better though.
