Inside Emma Roberts’s Wedding Dress Fitting | Vogue

“I feel like an elven fairy!” With her bridesmaids, her stylists, and her mother gathered at the Monique Lhuillier flagship store in New York City, actor Emma Roberts tries on her vintage-inspired, custom tea-stained wedding gown. Wrapped in 25 yards of silk chiffon and requiring more than 1,000 hours to create, the dress features a color never before used by Monique Lhuillier. Taking cues from ghosts, dolls, and antique ephemera, watch and see how Emma’s dream gown comes together.

Stepping inside Valentino, Dove gets a closer look at her beautifully detailed, celestial wedding dress, complete with a veil adorned with moons and stars—a reference to her middle name. As she goes over the final details of the gown, Dove opens up about just how overwhelming wedding planning has been in conjunction with releasing an album and touring. Finally, she calls her mother and grandmother so they can share in the emotional final dress reveal.
