Inside Cholë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison’s Wedding Dress Fittings | Vogue

Published

on

“I love, love!” Watch as Chloë Grace Moretz and Kate Harrison step into their third and final fitting with Louis Vuitton ahead of their wedding. Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections at Louis Vuitton, both brides’ wedding gowns and dazzling after-party looks are revealed. Chloë shares the story of their engagement and the vintage rings that mark the moment, while also unveiling her wedding gown, an icy-blue Old Hollywood–inspired dress, along with her playful after-party ensemble featuring a stark white cowboy hat. Kate’s wedding gown highlights her silhouette, while her after-party look features sheer overlays for a modern, romantic twist.

All there looks were so beautiful ! I love Chloe’s blue dress look so much. It’s reminds me of a Audrey Hepburn dress mixed with a 1920’s flapper era look💙

They look like they barely know each other let alone a couple ! They don’t look at each other lovingly, their body language is like there just with a stranger off the street ! I hope they do & I really do wish them the best but I can’t see this lasting

they’ve been together since 2018, so I wouldn’t worry about that. maybe instead of passing judgement you can celebrate their love. remember what we see online isn’t real life, this is their first video as an out couple, maybe they’re shy about opening up like that for the first time to the world

They’re just being professional for the video. Both girls have spent their lives being in the public eye, with Chloe being an actress, Kate having an actor father and being a model, so this is how they act for the cameras. They also have to try to restrict PDA or else it’ll be everywhere and they want to keep their relationship as private as they can, which I’m sure isn’t easy.

This was so special and they are both so down to earth. I think the Victorian rings suit them so well. I couldn’t picture Chloe with some giant rock on her hand. And the dresses are stunning. They are so timeless and not over the top at all

Inside the 2026 Met Exhibition: Costume Art | Vogue

Published

on

“Fashion is very much an art form not in spite of the body, but because of it,” says Andrew Bolton, OBE, curator in charge of the Costume Institute. And this year’s exhibition, “Costume Art,” seeks not just to address this tantalizingly complex issue, but to explore it in all its many facets. The central thesis is as simple as it is thrilling: pair existing artworks with corresponding garments or accessories and let your synapses fire. The very layout of the show—broken into sections that move from Biblical nudity to the au courant idea of body diversity to the ways in which we’ve long used clothes not merely to adorn but to subvert and distort the body—indicates just how richly drawn this subject is and why it’s mesmerized artists since time immemorial.

Sinéad Burke, CEO of Tilting the Lens, emphasizes how this exhibit highlights bodies that have traditionally been overlooked, and as someone with a physical disability, she is among those featured. Her body has been memorialized in the exhibition as a custom mannequin, alongside model and musician Aariana Rose Philip, transforming their presence into a lasting part of the narrative around representation, fashion, and identity.

Additionally, this exhibition will be the first in the costume department’s new home, the Conde M. Nast Galleries. Once relegated to a modest 4,500-square-foot space in the museum’s basement, the department will now take flight in a grand, 12,000-square-foot display room on the ground floor, just off the central Great Hall. It is, says Max Hollein, the museum’s director, a symbol of how important clothing has become to The Met’s mission in exploring the many facets of art in the modern age. “We collect paintings, sculptures, textiles, arms and armor, but especially all the fashion,” he says. “And we want to make sure that it’s understood that fashion is a fantastic form of art.”

Featuring testimonials from Misty Copeland, Alex Consani, Gwendoline Christie, Aimee Mullins, Sinéad Burke, Aariana Rose Philip and more.
