Too bad we didn’t get to see much of the apartment, mostly unsteady footage of him talking. I wish the camera person would pan out a little, no floors or ceilings

As soon as I saw the portrait of Truman Capote in the opening scan of the apartment, I knew who it was. The portait is a play off the famous photograph that graces his debut novel ‘Other Voices, Other Rooms.’ And of course, I love the story that is told. Especially as it pivots around the narrative pun…of Truman Capote…getting ‘nailed’…not once but twice…in that apartment.
