Photographer Tyler Mitchell and fashion editor Carlos Nazario head to Texas on a “school trip” of sorts for Vogue’s Summer Issue. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Tyler and Carlos wanted to choose a state that represented the good, the bad, and the ugly of the United States. Texas seemed like a natural fit. Along the way, Tyler and Carlos journey across the state, visiting Texas Southern University to capture cheerleaders and a drumline, spending time with line dancers and a gospel church community, and stopping at a ranch stewarded by Black cowboys.

Air Quotes no, I mean the text in the thumbnail (next to a Rogue Nation image) says ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout’ when it should say Rogue Nation.

You’re right! It’s crazy that they are not honoured. They give Oscars for videography, sound editing and costumes. They should give an Oscar to the stunt-people too – takes talent to do that.
