Like other commenters, I can’t believe this is her first Met Gala. I appreciated how “real” she is, especially when she said “We don’t wear clothes like this in Boseman.” I like to look at the Met Gala photos on the NY Times, and I always wonder what it is like to “get ready” for this event. Are they in their bathrooms putting on eyeliner? This was great. All those stars probably are in a hotel with a makeup artist, hairstylist + a designer to dress them. Thank you!
