ASAP is so shallow and self-absorbed 🙄
And while I appreciate this dandyism origins are in Europe. Particularly England and France.

Black Beings are the soul of style. We animate fashion with finesse, majesty & boldness. Style without Soul is drearily dull. Thanks, Vogue for platforming and acknowledging what we have always known…we will continue to be the style mavericks & alchemists leading the charge. 👑🪄✨

This is beautiful! i love the style! Now, my question is this: how will non-black people be able to dress on theme for the Gala without being castigated for “cultural appropriation”?

I really hate when wealthy Black people exploit the cultural traditions of the Black working class. Many Black families are on the verge of losing their food stamps, living in fear of deportation, rationing supplies, and lacking healthcare—yet they’re somehow expected to feel inspired by extravagant displays of wealth that don’t even trickle down to the community. I especially dislike rich Black liberals who are so desperate for recognition that they take token opportunities to appear in the same publications that have contributed to marginalizing Black creatives. I’m not convinced this is for Black people. This is clearly a vanity project for the Black elite—and that needs to be made very clear.
