How cool can you say „Hi, i am Matthew McConaughey.“

  18. AJ Taylor

    January 24, 2020 at 6:55 pm

Biggest takeaway from this Notes on a Scene: if you want to be a great director, have multiple interest outside of filmmaking. Guy Ritchie is interested in the marijuana business and the fashion world, so he can contribute to his films in more than one way. Also, The Gentlemen is fantastic.

The chemistry seems really off to me! Is just ms or does Charlie’s seem to resent Mathew for some reason?

They hate yanks in England and americans love them, how funny is that.

    • QE ornotQE

      January 24, 2020 at 7:35 pm

I get the impression there were some ‘difficulties’ (probably too strong a word) between Matthew McConnaughy and Guy Ritchie during the filming process. Largely due to McConnaughy not keeping up intellectually, and not being good at improvisation. But the end result is the movie, and the movie was smashing. McConnaughy did a great job.

    • Luz Renteria

      January 24, 2020 at 7:54 pm

@QE ornotQE yeah, Madonna is the only intelligent american he could stand😂 must be her loved of riding whips and all things british that probably help .

    • Marshmello

      January 24, 2020 at 7:55 pm

@QE ornotQE actually Matthew is good at improvisation, idk what kind of stupidity you’ve developed but you’ve clearly never seen Wolf of Wall street, that whole matthew McConaughey scene with leo DiCaprio was improvised, leo even had to look at Martin Scorsese during the shoot to try and understand and it really turned the tide for the film for the better. Stop being stupid, matthew is a great improviser.

    Guy is very smart

    • QE ornotQE

      January 24, 2020 at 7:43 pm

Yep. I think it’s likely that most directors are extremely smart. If you look at Ridley Scott or Peter Jackson in Behind the Scenes clips, you can clearly see that they’re very intelligent. Particularly so with Ridley.

    January 24, 2020 at 7:52 pm

Interesting. I have not seen or hear of this movie but I am pretty tied up. The only thing I agree on that illegal drug yet legal is if your not in a sober minded season than a non-sobering drug may help, drive you through the rough part of a season, quicker. Our vanity/imagination, is a very delicate thing. LOL, real life is full of real, stories. 😉 Nice!
