Loxion Kulca and SA Fashion Week present, “The Tribute” designed by Ole Ledimo; the Loxion Kulca brand, which initially began as an informal enterprise of hand-made items, has grown into a corporation that reaches the entire country as well as neighboring states.

The brand was born in Johannesburg and since its entry into the market, has been the embodiment of popular culture.

It draws its inspiration from authentic African principles of “ubuntu”, which govern the nature of their corporate partnerships; the term, ‘Loxion/lock-shin/location’, unique to South Africa, is
used countrywide to describe townships, ghettos, disadvantaged, under-developed areas and in some instances refers to “home”.

It represents the African urban state of mind while nurturing Kulca (culture), pride and successes of those who made freedom tangible.

The 2021 Spring/Summer collection celebrates co-founder Wandi Nzimande and honors everything he loved from music, to fashion and storytelling. Inspired by Wandi’s love of hip-hop, the collection features loose and free silhouettes with a touch of finesse.

Hints of the iconic Loxion Kulca colours black and lime, celebrate his expertise in uniting and uplifting emerging designers; the brand honors Wandi’s commitment to urban culture, paying
homage to a man whose vision took the streets to the runway.
