My all-time favorite movie, with some of my all-time favorite actors. These three are effing titans in the acting world, and they were in the greatest dinosaur movie in cinematic history. I saw Jurassic Park when I was 7, opening night, and it changed my life, which propelled my interests in science, art & writing.

Jurassic Park and The Lost World are wonderful lessons in science and hubris as well as being just great movies to watch. It’s pretty disappointing to see what has become of the originals with the Jurassic World movies, which are absolutely terrible and the epitome of Malcolm’s warning ‘You stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could, and before you even knew what you had, you patented it, and packaged it, and slapped it on a plastic lunchbox, and now
[bangs on the table] you’re selling it, you wanna sell it’

A bit sad Jeff and Laura started a madly in love romance during the first Jurassic Park but later broke up. They seem to still have respect for one another.

The originals were a lot darker and scarier, whereas the new films feel a bit Disney sadly, but still good films

Jurassic Park will always have a place in my heart. I graduated the day it was released. Went to graduation rehearsal, then when watched Jurassic Park, then went back and graduated high school.

Ah, I just love how original cast get back together for a reunion. It’s so much fun. Like reuniting with old friends and reminiscing over nostalgia.

Goodness they all look amazing after all these years! 🤩 I still remember 9yr old me sitting in the theater, wide eyed, seeing “rea live” dinosaurs for the 1st time! Jurassic Park is still one of the best CGI & practical effects movies of all time. Cannot wait to see how the JP & JW story comes full circle in June! 😁
