Gyllenhaal is one of the very very few actors who completely disappear in each one of his roles.

To me he’s one of the best if not the best actor working.

*blend of French/European culture, love for art and tech, great clubs and shows, and still feeling Canadian in values (caring, open, tolerant, and cooperative).

He definitely should’ve discussed Bubble Boy in the beginning. I’d love to hear his thoughts about making that movie. I thought it was hilarious when I was younger 😀

A truly fantastic and underrated actors who always make incredible movies. Still not over his performance in Nightcrawler. He was totally snubbed for that Oscar!

Is anyone more dedicated to their characters but also as humble as Jake? He is so human and thoughtful, and just seems to appreciate the gift that is the life he’s been given. I don’t know anyone else that could casually say the Crystals were a family friend and that’s how he got involved with City Slickers, then to still grow up and be humble and grateful daily…that’s special. That’s why he’s special.

One summer I watched Donnie Darko every night before bed. I can quote the whole movie. I can hear the songs in my head. This man in that performance propelled him to become one of my all time favorite Hollywood actors.

    Talk about a latebloomer.

Nightcrawler, one of the worst Oscar snub. The academy doesn’t know s$·$t.
