I’d love to see the opening scene of Children of Men to feature on this show, one of the most realistic explosions ive seen in a film

We r analyzing a movie. A movie. It’s supposed to be fake. I can’t believe this is being analyzed. Like Nicholas Cage could make that shot one handed. Exactly the ordinary person would have no idea, it’s all for entertainment

Karen-Beth Rynk That’s why they have a professional who works in the business to explain the decisions.

Nobody forces you to be here, stop complaining.

@Dominic D’Acunto No the autism would want the explosives be as realistic as possible.

I appreciate the explosion in the opening sequence (the armed car robbery) of Heat (1995) for its lack of nonsensical yet seemingly obligatory fireball, instead using the impact the shockwave has on nearby car windows as the way to illustrate its power.

I am so glad that CGI is taking over for real explosives. We have just been polluting the environment for entertainment.
