Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen & Moses Ingram Answer 7 Star Wars Questions | Vanity Fair

Published

on

Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen and Moses Ingram each answer the same seven questions about Star Wars. Anakin Skywalker (Christensen), Obi-Wan Kenobi (McGregor), and Reva (Ingram) will star in the Disney+ new miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi premiering on May 27th. How would they describe their characters? What was McGregor’s initial reaction when he was cast in Star Wars? Did the new series change their perception of the Star Wars universe?

Very wholesome of Ewan to mention Ahmed Best. It would actually be very cool to see the real Ahmed in any other upcoming series. Maybe in Andor or the Accolite?

Calling it right now, Obi wan will hardly be in the show and it is all going to be about the Inquisitor

If Ewan’s down for more Jar Jar, I’m down for more Jar Jar. Could’ve been possible for them to have another scene together in this show, but after this, I have no clue where they could encounter each other again.

There is no way the Obi Wan series is going to be good. Has everyone already forgotten about how bad the Book of Boba was?

What Moses says lines up with the leaks
She says “the inquisitor” like she will be the main one
Says her character is “always listening” like that she will find out about Luke
And finally that she “does the right thing” like not killing Luke and choosing to step back into the light

I would love if they told the story of what happened to Jar Jar. Would be interesting if done well.

Don’t get your hopes up folks, this is all pointing to a typical Disney bait and switch marketing strategy, in which Obi Wan will be secondary character in his own show? We’ve seen this throughout the Star Wars/MCU series, time and time again?

If the leaks are true(which they almost always are) may as well call it- “Reva: A Star Wars Story”, which will retcon virtually EVERYTHING George written and created.

LOVE Hayden and Ewan, couldn’t care less for the “strong“ female charactor which appenrently a must for any tv show these days…

Hayden’s reaction to being cast in Star Wars is the most relatable thing I think I’ve heard any cast member of these films say about them. I grinned just as he did hearing him say that, super heartwarming.
