    Saw the film last night and was blown away by its epic scope and the historic accuracy of every detail. This movie is made for anyone interested in a deep dive into thousand year-old Viking culture. Every trailer highlights the violence of the time, but a wonderful surprise was the heartbreak and loneliness of Amleth’s journey. The hopeful ending (due to a plot twist I won’t spoil) in which Amleth is able to “change his fate” provides an emotional and satisfying end to this masterpiece.

    It was one of the greatest films I’ve ever seen. THE best Viking film. One guy walked out the cinema saying “I thought it was a bit boring”. People are too used to endless, pointless CGI action with no substance and it’s a real shame
