    Jersey is one of those places that it seems like people never really leave. They always either stick around, return, or always consider it their home. Probably because of the distinctive culture. I’m in MN and I could live anywhere in the Midwest and there would only be very subtle cultural differences. But then you have Jersey and New York and New Orleans and Southern California that are almost like their own countries

    Born but not raised in NJ. Moved to PA at 13. I visit often- with the exception of this year – because family. But man, that South NJ accent was accurate.
