This was the most inspirational video Vogue ever did IMHO. He is full of inspiration. He was the voice of fashion lovers who cant afford Nicki Minaj Fendis, Guccis, LV logos. Even people who are not broke cant afford super expensive brands. (For example one can afford Coach, Kate Spade, Alexander Wang but not Gucci or Fendi)…I got so sad/pissed when he said Gucci ripped off and put on their runway exact same jacket but thanks to internet Gucci could not get away with it. Gucci, Fendi , Louis Vuitton should have affordable lines for all fashion lovers. He is amazing. Thanks for the video. Btw like in movie Pretty Woman (like quote Julia Roberts), Dapper can say to Louis Vuitton: Big mistake! HUGE!

I wonder why Gucci didn’t raid Dan when the other labels did. Even though that mercy and their collaboration with Dan are great, it’s disappointing that they tried to copy the jacket. But, what else is new in designer fashion?

Christian Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson visits Dior Heritage in Paris to explore some of the most cherished pieces from the house’s extraordinary archive. First up is the iconic Bar jacket, the defining silhouette of Christian Dior’s revolutionary 1947 New Look, followed by La Cigale, an architectural 1952 dress and one of Anderson’s personal favorites from the Dior archive. Its sculptural construction also serves as a direct inspiration for Anderson’s own Dior Cigale bag. He then moves on to the magical Junon dress, Christian Dior’s spectacular 1949 creation covered in layers of iridescent, petal-like embroidery. The surviving piece is now so fragile that it can only be displayed lying flat. Heading deeper into the archives, Jonathan arrives at the original charts for Christian Dior’s Spring/Summer 1949 haute couture collection, offering a fascinating glimpse into how the house meticulously documented and organized its collections. Along the way, Jonathan also dives into another side of Christian Dior’s legacy: his often-overlooked business acumen.
