In August 2019, Jason Bryant was set to be released from his prison sentence after Senate Bill 1437 passed in California, a law stating that a defendant who did not commit actual murder should not be charged with murder. Vanity Fair spoke with Jason in May 2020 after he had been released from prison for 40 days. He answers the exact same questions and looks back at his time capsuled answers from last year.

So look up ‘JaackMaates Happy Hour Podcast Raphael Rowe.’ And watch that, Raphael Rowe was sentenced to life in prison for crimes he didn’t commit, he’s free now though obviously.

White people always be surprised when a person of colour is “well spoken.” You expecting him to speak “black” or like a criminal?

Haise Stormblade lol calm down Chris rock can’t blame the man he assumed this guy would be a cold hearted criminal and is probably shocked that the man really does seem to have turned a new leaf and sounds nothing like a thug who associates himself with armed robbers he’s probably just positively surprised

      September 4, 2020 at 5:24 pm

@Tubby Montana Firstly i am calm. Secondly, you calling me chris rock is racists, are you implying all black people look the same or is it because i called the typical way white people think about black people, that you want to jokingly call me someone else.
Sounds about white to me. I bet you have black friends too right?
