I really wish there were Asian Models included in these videos.

Maybe they didn’t want to be included. Asians are typically quiet af when it comes to racism 🤷🏽‍♀️

it feels very unfair and problematic that refugees, people of color and/or anyone different feels like they have to prove something in everything that they do. that is a lot of daily pressure that can weigh heavy on your heart

Its ironic that fashion is always evolving and creates new trends and very “libral” yet diversity is still a problem, isnt the norm.godddd like enough! Whats wrong with a person who’s darker?! It drives me crazy how much a race is being put down and treated less than a white person because of their appearance

  9. Bea Rose

    July 22, 2020 at 6:51 pm

This whole video is performative. Vogue has been anti black for a long time. And continue to be so.

Watch this not blow up simply because of the title😪 most Vogue subscribers will skip right over this.

The modeling industry will never change its as if they are making this issue trending like they said just because people are talking about it more. Once things subside they will go back to doing what they were doing before like a hypocrite

They are gonna continue to be racist cause is a racist industry

‘White Privilege’ is an extreme left narrative. I don’t think that is any more ok than the narrative of the extreme right.
And the BLM-extreme left movement are dividing ppl by their skin color, what would Martin Luther King say about that? 🤦‍♀️

Keep MLKs name out of your mouth. MLK was a black leader that fought and died for the rights of his people. If your people hadn’t murdered him he’d be alive now shouting black lives matter! White people created racism and were just victims of it.

      July 22, 2020 at 7:41 pm

@Brittany Doss you’re missing the real problem: rich and famous privilege.

    • Brittany Doss

      July 22, 2020 at 7:45 pm

GnomeOfArgentina what are you even on about? Like I said just say you don’t care about black people. And keep MLK out of your mouth.

why are there white people in this video? what insight do they have to give about racism and privelege?

Vogue and the modeling industry literally discriminate based on physical appearance. Where are the dark-skinned Mexican indigenous women, dark-skinned Indians, little people, amputees—models with cleft palette, missing teeth, “large” noses, acne, etc.? Only people within a certain mold get picked. All the types of people I listed can be model-worthy. This is the rich and privileged pretending they struggle like us plebs. It’s all just rich, relatively thin girls with good skin.

Vogue you need to hold yourself accountable for all of these experiences they have had. You are one of the biggest media outlets and have a big fashion platform… so are y’all gonna do something or are you gonna keep using emotional trauma of black models for views and likes. You guys need to diversify your production teams, makeup artist and corporate. This video infuriated me ! Vogue needs to be held accountable for encoring this system of white supremacy in the fashion industry

BUT WHY ON VOGUE? AFTER WAR GO TO VOGUE???

4:59 THIS. This should happen. We really need this in the beauty industry.

Race takes a huge part in modelling
I’m so proud of those models who made there dreams come true buy going through hard times🥰🥰🥰

In this day and age, it is so sad and disappointing that discrimination is still alive. I understand that there will always be ignorant people in the world, but that’s no excuse for all this death and bloodshed and hate.
