Andrew Yang: Same Interview, One Year Apart | Vanity Fair

Published

on

In April 2019, Andrew Yang met with Vanity Fair to discuss the start of his 2020 presidential campaign. In February 2020, the presidential hopeful returned to answer the same questions and look back at his time capsuled answers from last year. From an audience of 3,000 at a San Francisco rally to speaking in front of 17 million viewers on the Democratic debate stage, Andrew Yang has seen monumental political growth in a short amount of time.

What I miss most about Yang is he was genuinely kind, and genuinely cared about the future of our country. He didn’t seem rehearsed and rigid like all the other candidates. He was just a real guy.

Yang is like the better side of Trump. He’s also a business man, but he is calm, friendly and wants to put the money in our hands!

The mass unemployment and economic downturn were seeing during the coronavirus pandemic, is the same type of mass unemployment and economic downturn we’ll see as AI and automation decimates our economy. We’re gonna need UBI.
