The Joker went insane because he fell in a vat of chemicals. He was not a leftist, antifa like douche. F*ck this revisionist garbage.

I used to have a very long period of depression and one eerily creepy thing they got dead accurate about the atmosphere of the movie was the depressive heaviness you can just feel. Worth it for the art this movie was.

    ***SPOILERS***
10:15 , that “graphic novel shot” of the kids kicking Arthur in the alleyway is an almost identical shot to the one we see towards the end of the film, depicting the masked clown confronting the Waynes in the alleyway, just before he pulls the trigger. Nice foreshadowing, maybe this hints to the ‘joke’ Arthur is laughing at at the end – that he has inadvertently created the same circumstances for someone else as he underwent at the beginning.

This is how the dc cinematic universe should have done their superhero movies instead copying the tone of marvel cinematic. This joker movie got the tone of dc comics perfectly.

The only criticism I kinda find is that some of the bully scene are kinda unrealistic.. but then again, you could say they kinda toned it down for specific reason I guess..
