Inside Usher’s ‘Past Present Future’ Tour Looks | Vogue

“You leave me in the room with the clothes I’m gonna try everything on…” Usher and stylists Jan-Michael Quammie and Yashua Simmons break down all the looks they’ve come up with for Usher’s “Past Present Future” tour. Get a glimpse at some of the tour’s final fittings as Usher tries on custom pieces from celebrated designers Robert Wun, David Koma, and Luis de Javier. Robert outfits Usher in a double-breasted coat encrusted with rhinestones, topped with a shimmering wide-brimmed hat. David’s look evokes luxury armor—crystal embellishments cascade down Usher’s chest like sparkling chain mail, layered beneath a classic leather jacket and finished with a crisp white durag. Usher’s last look, created by Luis de Javier, has him wrapped in dozens of belts, echoing the aesthetic of famed video game character designer Tetsuya Nomura.
