An absolute masterpiece! The short story is very different but equally wonderful. Amy’s performance in this is so beautiful, full of humanity and empathy, very apt for a field linguist.

The film begins with the semi-circle of the lecture hall and develops into the circular hallway she walks in the hospital, in part suggesting Adam’s character’s journey and understanding time. There’s so much more to the film than the CGi, acting and script.
