Anna Sui is one of New York’s most cherished designers.
Originally born in Dearborn, Michigan on August 4, 1964.
She found her foot in fashion when first beginning her artistic career in the 1970’s underground New York art scene.
Growing up Chinese-American in a town where there were not many Chinese families, she was left to reimagine her own idea of the “American Dream.”
